Precautions for using Ball Valve

1. The Universal Valve can be installed on the pipeline at any position in the space.

2. The installation position of the Ball Valve should ensure the convenience of use, maintenance and replacement.
3. When installing the Universal Valve, the direction of flow of the pipeline medium can be ignored, that is, bidirectional flow is allowed.
4. The Ball Valve should be stored in a dry place indoors before installation, with the valve plate slightly open 4° to 5°.
5. The following work should be done before installing the Ball Valve:
① Carefully check whether the usage conditions are consistent with the performance specifications of the Universal Valve.
②Clean the inner cavity and sealing surface. No dirt is allowed to adhere. Do not open or close the butterfly plate before cleaning.
③ Check whether the transmission device is properly connected to the upper flange of the Ball Valve.
6. When clamping the Ball Valve on the pipeline, pay attention to whether the connection force is uniform and reliable.
7. After the Ball Valve is installed, the valve plate must be in the open position when performing a pipeline strength pressure test.
8. After the Ball Valve is installed, it should be inspected regularly. The main items to be inspected are as follows:
① Check whether the Ball Valve seat and O-ring are damaged.
②Sealing performance of valve plate sealing surface.
③After the Ball Valve is inspected and assembled, there should be no jamming when opening and closing.
④ After the Ball Valve is inspected and assembled, the sealing performance test should be carried out as required.
⑤After each maintenance, the situation should be recorded in detail for reference.
