Routine maintenance of Globe Valve

Due to the harsh environment in which Globe Valve are used, certain failures will inevitably occur during use. Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out certain Globe Valve maintenance and repair.

(1) The inner wall of the valve body. Check its pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.
(2) Valve seat. Due to the penetration of media, the inner surface of the thread used to fix the valve seat is susceptible to corrosion, causing the valve seat to loosen. This should be paid attention to during inspection. For high-pressure situations, you should also check whether the valve seat sealing surface is damaged.
(3) Globe Valve. It is necessary to carefully check whether all parts of the Globe Valve are corroded and worn. Especially under the condition of high pressure difference, the wear of the Globe Valve is more serious, so attention should be paid to it. In addition, you should also check whether the Valve Stem has similar phenomena or is loosely connected to the Globe Valve.
(4) Diaphragms, O-rings and other seals. Check whether it is aged or cracked.
(5)Sealing packing. Check whether the PTFE packing and sealing grease are aged and dried up, and whether the mating surface is damaged.
